What's up duck?

I'm not sure if this duck was resting one of it's legs or if it was hurting him. He stood on the hand rail of a bridge whilst I took loads of pictures and kept getting closer. Needless to say one of them had to turn out alright and I'm really pleased, as it's third time lucky today. My first missed opportunity was a heron on this exact same spot earlier in the day. My second missed opportunity was a lovely robin that landed on the handle of my large garden fork. I guess I haven't got enough blipping experience yet for the fast birds!
