Space 1999

Well this little doo dad is supposed to be a Weather Station/Radar, it kinda reminds me of either like something from Space 1999 or from the Cold War. And the fact that it's surrounded by a lot of barbed wire and keep away notices adds to this - it has a "Military Installation" feel to it.

I did take a lot of other pics today - BUT i forgot to dial off the high iso i was using yesterday - hence deeming nearly all of my pictures today crap and full of noise ....i don't know how many times i've done this...grrr....one thing it has done is made me aware of the d80's mediocre high iso quality..oh well - i guess i'll have to wait for a D3x (in my dreams)
