I Know I Have One Somewhere

Visited B+A today which was tremendous fun. Although the weather was looking seriously iffy as we went there. Thunder and a real downpour, it was not looking good.

They live on an island in the Rhein and you have to take a ferry (the Tamara) to get there. I wish I knew more people who lived a ferry ride away - I like travelling on boats.

When we got there, the weather cleared to blue skies and bright sunshine - really glorious. We had Kaffee (tea for me) and Kuchen in the Garden. I could have blipped the cakes again - we had a serious chocolate cake, a really good looking strawberry thing and some home-made warm Apfelkuchen with whipped cream. I wished a bit of that last one to Just Sitting.

It was a great afternoon. Sitting out and chatting - watching Black Kites, parakeets and storks, hearing woodpeckers, walking round gardens, admiring the John Deere lawnmower and just generally enjoying life. I'm looking forward to going back.
