Meeting up with old friends (and some new little ones) today, although now most of us have kids of varying ages it is generally a daytime meet and there seems to be much more eating and less drinking.

Plus we don't all live just around the corner anymore - even the ones of us that live in the same city are a good 15 minute drive away. Then there are the friends that live a couple of hours and the ones that need to book a flight! The logistics of meeting up just seem to get more complicated.

So the kids ran about and we all ate more food than could realistically fit our bodies - splendid!
