Black-headed grosbeak

Gotcha! He's been very shy about coming to the feeder when he sees movement in the house. I spotted him in the trees outside the kitchen window and got my camera then waited. And waited. He finally worked up enough nerve to come down and eat. The goldfinches and others were belly-up to the bar so I guess he figured it was okay. I haven't seen one in my yard before so this was a real treat. Have a chipmunk chap around now too. They've been pretty scarce, I'm sure because of the cat. Hoping to get a decent shot of him soon too.
