Rat

Saw this on our bird feeder (only nuts left now) and tried to convince myself it was a large mouse but decided it was a small rat. Just as I started writing this I noticed it again and went out with a big stick. It escaped but after I got a closer look I'm not so sure. It was lucky the neighbour's cat wasn't sitting in its usual place on the fence. I don't mind mice outside and blipped a cheeky little blighter in the same place a few months ago.
