My bookbag

Four years ago, I met a writer. He carried his bookbag, which had his favorite books, journal, and other stuff around with him all the time. I remember admiring his bookbag because it was so worn but had a lot of character. It looked like a typical writer's bookbag.

When I got this bookbag for my 19th or 20th birthday from my dad and my stepmom, it was stiff and it looked so uncomfortably brand-new. Now it's softer, more worn, and has scratches and faded spots. In other words, it finally has character. While it may look like garbage to some people, I think it looks great!
