Today is I am 40

No big celebrations; slap up breakfast and tea and a bottle of bubbly tonight. The kids enjoyed it all, not the bubbly.

The 40 candles on the cake looked very impressive and Rosie & me just about blew them all out in one puff. Alice (18months old) stuck her finger in the candle flame. She cried, we used her drink to cool the wound. A lesson was learnt.

This is the 40th lamp post along the Tay Road Bridge, on a rather gray and un-inspiring day.
