Fascination Revealed...

Following yesterday's blip I can now reveal the results of the grand opening of the Himalayan Poppy. I find them vey fascinating and interesting to look at with the patterns, textures and stippled colours on the petals.

Elsewhere in the garden today we saw our first Blue Tailed Damselfly, a fabulous emerald green blue specimen from the typica sub-species (Ischnura elegans typica). Sadly he wouldn't play ball and hid in the leftovers of the now fading Marsh Marigold which meant I couldn't get a clear shot to do him justice.
