Exclusive

Woke early thinking I might head out for a ride in the Whakarewarewa forest. Nope, weather bad, so met instead a local who runs the shuttle and is president of MTB NZ. Great coffee at Lime, and a great discussion. But the weather got worse, so ... I decided Taupo was likely to be similar, so the alternate option of riding "Craters of the Moon" wasn't on either. Coffee. Back to the Okere Falls Store where we went several weeks ago. Fabulous.

Then off to Taupo, a meeting at 2, and then onwards to Ohakune. Arrived there at 5.30, had a quick drink, then went out to a function being presented by our client to many local businesses. Very interesting, with a bonus of wine and food. I really love engaging fully with clients, and their clients. You gain such and understanding and empathy, which allows you to do a much better job. A situation I wish that was more frequent.
