Train Under Water

it happened to me, now it's happening to you
but if you'd take that train underwater
then we could talk it through

[box of rain]

day four of the appalachian trail. it poured ice cold sheets of rain the whole day while we trudged again uphill for six more miles. consider the concept of falling up niagara falls, and that's pretty close to what we experienced. this trail ended with us making it to a closed road, being rescued by a park ranger, and relocating to a warm, dry hotel in gatlinburg.
it wasn't raining in the city when we came down from the clouds, so we sketched around and took pictures of spring.

*note: this was the first and ONLY day with bad weather. go figure*
