Davehouse (with a door)

Mr nut has a book on Peppa pigs favorite things and her favorite thing is her Doll house. He has been thinking for a while that his Daves would very much like a house to live in. He constructed a small one room shack I was very impressed with, and so I helped build another room and make an upper storey.

The the Daves extended the house and added a rooftop garden. Then a conservatory. Then I built an external staircase which made the nut really really happy (and is bloody difficult with Duplo). Finally we encircled it with a small train track and added a garage. It really is a luxury residence that any Dave would be happy to live in.Except maybe and elderly dave on account of the dangerousness of the staircase and also the draughtiness due to lack of external walls (to allow easy access to small hands)

I kept peeping in to see that it has been demolished but it is still intact, in fact, some tears might have been shed when the vacuum came out and it was suspected I might be dismantling the house with a door (it is impossible for nuts to say just 'house')

Anyway he played nicely all day with it, mostly drinking nice cups of tea, because that's what pepper pig did, so that's obviously what one does in ones house with a door.
