Well I'm 40. Had a wonderful night out at the Kings Wark in Leith - always a favourite. Was joined by my family who were overly generous with gifts - I got two fantastic paintings from talented mother and brother, and a lovely tapestry from equally talented Sis. They are the best kind of presents and I am truly grateful.

Pictured here is her-indoors and our wee firestarter wishing big daddy a happy birthday in the morning - you can see the first rays of the sun bursting through as god and the angels rained down gifts of love and forgiveness upon me on this momentous day. Alright - that's enough.
