Ask the Headless Chicken

As you might remember, Brian was in search of the elusive garden gnome when a mysterious voice said "Ask the headless chicken!"

So here we find a ceramic lawn ornament that drew a bit of moisture which froze in the winter, expanding and popping the head off.

All right, so much for the physics lesson, now how does that help find the elusive garden gnome?

One might say that this story is moving at a snail's pace!
