Llanrhyader scribbleage

Spent a brilliant day with Lady Sp33d, one of her bros, her sis and her fella out in north wales. First we dropped between the Berwyns into Llangynog, the birthplace of her dad and the majority of his family taking the opportunity to spruce up her Nana's grave at the church of Pennant melangell before a cup of tea and an impressed gawp and the rather ace self-brushed watercolours littering her uncles cottage. Later we had a nosey around Lake Vyrnwy before making our way to the waterfall at Llanrhyader.

This is a pic of some pre-pubescent scribblescribes in the far-too-slippery-to-dare-to-walk-any-further slatechunks that fringe the splishsplashpool where the gush of waterfall spillage bubbles into a meandering stream again, just ahead of the obligatory coffee shop with novelty welsh items and a rather hefty looking st bernard slobbering at the door.

I loved his cottage not least because the walls were well over 2ft thick.

(ha - just checked out my 'a year ago today' thumbnail. Totally forgot about that :-)
