working in a lab with no windows, i missed the line of clouds and swells of rain that fell this afternoon. however, it was wonderful nonetheless to walk outside and feel the cool fresh air and smell the sweet rain. the ground is drenched and a few toadstools are pushing their way towards the sky, but i didn't think the depth was good enough (see outtakes).

the real beauty this evening was the magnolia bud. sparkling with raindrops, on the verge of opening its seams, gracing the world with its sweet and fragrant presence; full of potential and waiting.

Happy Friday.

cheers,
L
