Common Yellowthroat

Nothing common about this one see the blue grey shadow below him was a Northern Parula. They came together which is very unusual. These are two birds that you don't see every day in your back yard much less together.
They acted as best buds and had a great time in the bird bath.
Other excitement for the day the doggie killed a black racer and we threw it
over the fence so maybe the hawks would come down to get it. Not more than five minutes and a Vulture was there to get it. Amazing how they know what is happening on the ground that quickly. I guess Mother Nature never stops to amaze us.
