Another Admiral

Yellow admiral, Vanessa itea. A New Zealand native which was collected on Captain James Cook's voyage in 1769. It is also found in Australia.

There were two on the Viburnum tinus bushes this afternoon. They were tricky to capture, but I managed to pin this one down with its proboscis in a flower. I love its scintillating fur coat.
