Scorched

Great sunny day today. We took the car to Murgado golf course in the foothills of Monchique. It was a new course and very natural although there was some building work going on in places. As the temperature soared we realised it was going to be a 5 hour game - 4 balls all the way. It actually turned out slightly longer, and we were pretty tired afterwards having pulled our own trollies. Still we enjoyed it and enjoyed the cold drinks in the clubhouse even more.

Had a quiet evening eating outside in one of the narrow streets in town. Lovely atmosphere.
