Linlithgow. St Michael's church.

This modern stained glass window is one of the most impressive I have ever seen. Which is why when C1 asked me if I wanted to go on a day trip to Linlithgow I said 'Only if I get to blip the window'.

So we hopped on the train and spent the day walking up the canal and back down the river trying to identify the wild flowers. We sat on a bridge to eat our sandwiches and watched a canal boat called 'Dignity' putter gently passed. We had tea in the Neuch and spent far too much money in the Patchwork Shop. Then caught the fast train home just as it began to rain.

Thanks for a lovely day C1.
