Still waiting for the "A" Train

This building used to be one of the busiest passenger train stations in the US.
By the mid 1950's passsenger service was stopped completely. The station sat abandonded by the Railroad and became a haven for all sorts of bad things and people.
About 15 years ago the State bought the building and opened it as a comunnity college. Recently it was sand blasted to remove a century's worth of soot and grime. Then the roof was replaced and the copper flashing now gleams in the sun. Eventually the copper will tarnish and be the same color as the rest of the roof.
