Fledged!

Probably the last day of having the blackbird chicks to hang out with.

The three have been hopping about from tree to tree, not quite ready to leave but I think tomorrow will be the day.

I've named this one Patrick due to the rather grumpy face and tufty eyebrows.

One of the three is not happy in the trees and mostly on the ground. it's smaller than the others and may have been the last egg to hatch. Fingers crossed.

PS Number 3 didn't make it and joined brother Steve in the big Holy Japanese Maple in the sky!
