Piece of cake

My cousin S and I embarked on a three day, triceratops cake-making journey, last night. We baked a sour cream white wedding cake on the previous evening and allowed it to chill overnight, so that we could cut it into the shape of a triceratops head. Today we went to the bulk candy section in Central Market and got candy to decorate the cake. We then made butter cream frosting, dyed it and then began to ice the cake. It was great collaboration with S, we did a damn fine job. And it tasted delish to boot.
Tomorrow is the big unveiling of the cake to my son, who's turning six. Can't wait.
