Carnage

I came out to the above scene in the car park tonight.
The picture doesn't really do it justice, there was tree debris everywhere, including all over my car, even although I deliberately parked away from the trees.

The drive home was even worse.

I had been warned the M8 was near-impossible to get onto, so opted for the A71 instead. It was littered with debris too including a tree that had partially fallen over and was encroaching onto the road.

Quite a few snapped and downed trees along the sides of the road, one of which had demolished a roadside wall. The wind and driving rain was not pleasant, but I made it safely thank goodness.
