The Mill Dam (site of)

What windy weather we have had.
I went round the local park today and it was strewn with debris blown from trees. Everything fron shredded leaves, through twigs and branches, to whole trees. Hawthorn, lime, sycamore, oak, ash and horse-chestnut all equally devastated.

I took some record shots of some of it but they were not pretty enough for blipping so I went to a sheltered spot within the woods where a stream runs over the remains of a dam that used to provide water power for a local linen mill about 100 years ago. Hopefully you will enjoy this waterfall.
