Zoe as Spring

This is Zoe as the season Spring for her 5th grade student/teacher written & directed science play. She was awesome. The play was awesome. Her teacher is amazing. Sadly, her teacher was the victim budget cuts made by the RRISD. I blame Rick Perry for not making education a priority in Texas. Her teacher has handled the news with incredible grace and class in a terrible job economy for teachers.

I have always been an incredible proponent for public schools. I just wish our Texas legislature felt the same way.
