Street Art #9 - Public will writ large?

Okay, so this was a blip I planned to take.

It's more about the street art than the message.

Although the message is important too.

I am not particularly pro or anti Tesco.

It would be just be nice if they had a different approach to the communities they arrive in.

Maybe it wouldn't have made a difference here.

They are a big company so we must be shopping there.

Perhaps there's something we don't like about going to Tesco.

Perhaps we all hanker after going to small, independent shops.

We haven't got the time, so transfer that bad feeling and blame Tesco.

I don't know the reason!

I saw this driving up the road at the weekend and decided I must try and get a shot of it sometime.

So, at 5.30 this morning, I got on my bike, tip-toed out of the house and had a great ride down to Stokes Croft.

A few quick shots and a return to a nice cup of tea..!

A gorgeous morning and nice to have an excuse to get up.

A few more early mornings might be in store.

It's quiet at this time of day.

The strong cider/lager drinkers were already up (or not yet asleep) around Turbo Island, a 'famous' bit of Stokes Croft.

The security guards stationed on top of the now repaired Tesco store were up.

The baker was up, wearing just his shorts and a T shirt and the grocers and cafe owners were just opening up.

It's an interesting time of day.

For reference, the Tesco store is on the road on the right hand side of this shot, opposite the infamous Telepathic Squat.

We've got it all going on in Bristol.

Enough! Off to work time..
