Topless

My new workbench, that is.

The first top arrived with a couple of dented corners which I didn't discover until I'd already already assembled the base. I called the company I bought it from (Rockler), and asked for a replacement top. They had it on a truck headed my way before the end of the day, along with all the other parts I didn't need. Everything in the package was fine, except for the top, which had a major manufacturing defect.

I called Rockler again and asked them to send me another top, after thoroughly inspecting it. As the saying goes, I'm hoping that the third time will be a charm.
