"Iceage Sculptures"

I love places like this, I wish you could smell and hear this scene, a passing Curlew and then a fly past by a group of pipeing Oystercatchers.. These mighty rocks don,t look so big in the picture, they were pushed here in the last Iceage, notice the beautifully fine gravel, not showing in the shot are the many clumps of flowers close in to the base of the rocks, Primroses Campion, Bluebells, etc. Just a little early for a great stand of Flag Iris, pity, they,re so impressive .. Just as I,d taken the shot there was a great whistling, a Buzzard was being mobbed by a Hawk.. Should have brought my fly rod...
