Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

RIGHT HAND, LEFT HAND

Ted and I recently instituted the practice of 'Wonderful Wednesdays' - a day a week when we can just hang out and do stuff together, instead of getting caught up in the usual commitments.

Today we went to St Mungo's Museum of Religious Art and Life and then wandered throiugh the soft drizzle to the Merchant City to have a late breakfast (11.55) at Gandolphi's. You are spolit for choices of places to eat in the Merchant city, but Gandolphi's remains a firm favourite. Stornaway black pudding and home made potato scones for both of us.

So many images strike me when I see our own city through a stranger's eyes, but this is the one that made it as a Blip - 'Divided' by Frances Carr (oil on canvas)
