Our NYC Abode

This is our apartment building on West 97th Street in New York.

We arrived from Northampton at midday, to find the front entrance finally open after a good year of renovations. This shot is taken from near the entrance. Our apartment comprises the second and third windows to the left of the balconies, ten floors down from the top (we're on the 11th, and the top story is the 20th).

I realize this blip is not highly imaginative, but we were mainly occupied with setting up more furniture in the apartment in preparation for friends from France arriving early next week. We went out to eat with a friend, but I forgot my camera--so no possibility of a night shot :)
