Nostalgia's not what it used to be

My wife's grandfather was a baker in Holyhead in WW2.

This is a page from his recipe book (a small black covered notebook) giving quantities and methods for various "mixings" - all of which were done by hand.

There is a date of Feb 8th 1941 on other pages of the note book.

The photographs in the background are my father's from the same period.
