Tolls

Another grey and windy day. I nipped over to my allotment - now in its twentieth year - and picked the first lot of strawberries. Stopped at Barcombe Mills on the way back. According to a sign on the bridge, this was the first place in Sussex where tolls were levied (in 1066) to cross the river Ouse.
