The 'other' journal

I was doing a bit of sorting and came across this journal that was bought as a gift (probably Christmas) and in which I started to keep a daily account of life, commencing 17th January 2009. I had kept a jornal for an entire year 24 years ago and decided to do so again but wasn't quite dedicated to it this time and it petered out on 8th March 2009.

It just goes to show how compelling Blipfoto is as it has got me hooked in a way that keeping a written journal didn't. I love photos and their ability to rekindle memories and now that the bug has caught me, I might just have another go at the written one.
