The Lake District in the Rain

Firstly a big thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on yesterdays entry. It is the first time i've graced the spotlight page (apart from the big 100) so i was truely touched.

Had a LONG day today. Up early to drive over to the lake district to meet Lizzie's parents who were travelling home from a boating holiday in Scotland. The plan was to arrive early and go for a walk before they arrived. The weather had other ideas!!!

So after seeing lots of the Lakes by car we eventually met up with the in-laws about 6ish. Lovely meal, swapped holiday stories and then the drive home. Just enough energy left to give this image a bit of HDR treatment before I hit the hay!!!!
