Rolling Thunder

It's Memorial weekend in Washington and with it comes a great tradition: Rolling Thunder.

These are bikers from all over the states, who come to town in honor of war veterans. Tomorrow (sunday) there will be a parade of them (predicted to be a 100,000 strong!) leaving from the Pentagon, rounding the Mall and ending up at the Vietnam Memorial. I plan on being there as they are a sight to behold.

The bikers were assembling all over town today. We were having drinks with friends at a sidewalk bar on this absolutely gorgeous day, when this guy, with his companion in the sidecar, rumbled by. :)
