One of those fabulously bright, windy days we get in the north of Scotland so went for a very blowy walk up the local hill which is less than two miles away.

There's three of these masts up there which I think are part of a national microwave relay network which is pretty much defunct now.

It's only 266m above sea level but there's a view of at least 20 miles in every direction. It should be mandatory for all tourists to walk up here to check it out and get a sense of prespective before they jump in their rental cars to drive to the distilleries and castles.
