Female House Finch

Female House Finches have a beauty of their own. The male has red on the chest and head. I have photographed a male with yellow feathers instead of red. I guess their diet can make this happen, however, in the eleven years that I have been photographing in Souther Arizona, I have only captured the yellow feathered house finch once.
