Flamenco Dancer

This was the first "proper" flamenco performance I had been to, and I was entranced by the sensuality and drama of it. The guitar playing was a natural attraction for me, but it was the dancing that really tugged at your emotions. At the end, I enquired of my wife whether it would be possible for me to marry the dancer but, regrettably, she advised me that Spanish law would not permit it.

This show was in the Museum of Flamenco Dance in Seville, in relatively low lighting levels, where it was difficuly to catch the drama of the dancer's movement (flash was, quite rightly, not permitted).
