Jane's Photo Diary

By jbromley

Wild roses along the cycle route.

It's a great year for roses. These are wild ones growing by the footpath sign that leads across an adjacent field. There are also some other wild flowers in the foreground along with Britain's only dangerous plant - the stinging nettle.

I'll try to include some wild animals in my pictures soon, but they are harder to spot and photograph as I zoom by on the bike - yes I am getting faster with all this practice. And the price of fuel (I'm now spending 50% more per month on it than last year) is a strong incentive to cycle even more.
