Wooden Houses

Had a great day today - boat trip around to the different forts in the north of the island. Little bit of history, little bit of soaking up the sun, little bit of boat dancing and crazy games (not me, but it was fun watching!). The best part? Golfinos Bay, which translates to Dolphins bay. And there were dolphins!!! My photography skills and camera are not good enough to capture them, but we got to see a pod of 4 or 5 playing around quite close to the boat. Beautiful! We got to finish the day sitting on the beach, drinking a beer and watching the sunset.

As we were leaving the beach we stumbled across this - an old tree trunk which has been carved and painted to become terraced house. Pretty clever, and an inventive way to make the old stump beautiful again.
