Mr Bug

I woke up very late on Sunday, but it was such a glorious day I decided to jump out of bed and go for a bike ride. The route to Yong He Reservoir looked fairly straightforward on Google Maps, with only one steep uphill section so I hoped my little folding bike would be able to make it.

It did. And it was worth it. Everything was sparkling and glowing in the sunlight. The breeze was cooling and the humidity low. A perfect spring day.

I did take pictures of the reservoir, but it was hard to get it all in. Instead, today's blip is courtesy of my boyfriend who spotted this armoured beast trundling through the foliage by the side of the path.
