The Edge of Waterworld

The world as far as this bit of water is concerned seems to be flat after all.

This is a view looking down on the top of the Falkirk Wheel in Scotland. The 'basin' (for want of a better word) at the end is where boats sail into and are lowered down to re-join the canal below and vice versa for boats being lifted up from the lower level.

Obviously no boats when I took this photograph but I quite liked that and the feeling of the water just stopping at the end as though this was the world's end. All this and no alcohol to fuel the imagination!
