Reflections

Walking home this morning the puddles seem to shimmer with reflections of Autumn. We had the warmest May on record and today is no exception....... I guess summer may be a long time off since winter hasn't started yet! 3 weeks until the shortest day.... definitely our climate is changing. Last night I enjoyed the opening of two Photo exhibitions in Auckland as part of the Festival of Photography. One called Climate by Michael Hall - his images show human impact on the landscape - very thought provoking. The other was the Brian Brake opening, Brian Brake is NZ's most famous photographer and only ever member of Magnum. I will follow up both openings with lectures or floor talks this weekend.
