Taking notice

Right, it's the first of the month and I'm going to make an effort to try and complete a full month of blips which I've not managed to do yet.

The first of the month is also quite important as it's the first day of what will be my last month in Bahrain. My notice of resignation became official today and I will be working another 29 (or 21 including weekends) before packing up and heading for a new job in Dubai.

And even more importantly than that, it gives me and Claire, something to focus on and work towards in being together again as we've always intended to be. Civil uprisings and other factors made it difficult to make any plans, so here's hoping things will finally fall into place.
