Finally "they" have got a Round Tuit.
Work has re-commenced on the, thus far ill-fated, "New Squares".
"Them as wants it" say it will enhance the town, "them as doesn't" say it will kill off both the current town centre, already in it's death throws, and merely clone all other town centres a wee bit south of the current position.

This, and the buildings on the left, used to be one of our few "carp Arks" and the "RAFA Club".
