Spuggie

It's great to have the host of sparrows back in the garden. AS I was waiting for the kettle to boil this morning, I looked out the kitchen window to see the bird feeder covered in spuggies. This lone male ventured onto the plum tree, which has just started to bud. Spring is in the air! The sparrows nest in thicket in the garden behind ours and in full feeding throttle, they can clear out the bird feeder three times a day!
