Zafra

Today I went into Zafra to get some grocery shopping done. Zafra is about 15 kilometres from Feria and has a couple of big supermarkets.

But before the boring stuff went for a slow wander round the town.

This is a shot of La Plaza Grande. It's a beautiful square, as you can see and during fiestas and on Sundays it's packed with families, young and old people sitting at the tables of bars and restaurants that surround the square.

There is also a Plaza Chico (Little Square) just beyond this bigger square. Around the town are lots of little parks and grassy areas, fountains and places to sit and watch the world go by. I went to El Parque de la Paz for a coffee and sat in the shade people watching. Ahhh.

Zafra is also known as Little Seville.
