Perilous Junction...

In Cambridge there is an awful lot of idiocy and thoughtlessness when it comes to driving along Newmarket Road. Drivers go too fast, don't let traffic turn right heading out of the City, don't use the Park and Ride and, worst of all, block the junction at Tescos or Jump the lights there....

The last two of this list of misdemenours occur on the junction shown above. There were two Ambulances and a Police traffic car in attendance. I turned up after it has all happened however I can tell you what typically happens at this junction....

So many people jump the lights or block the junction you can almost guarantee seeing it happen. When one person does it it blocks traffic coming from other directions so they start doing it and the whole situation mushrooms causing major traffic jams just because people can't be patient for a few seconds and end up causing major chaos!

If anyone from the county council is watching, shove a Box Junction and some Traffic Light cameras here before there are more accidents. This is the second I've seen in the last few weeks!
