Almost there

It is a beautiful calm and cloud free evening and I should perhaps climb the small hill behind where we are and take a photo of the sunset over Morven and Mull, but I am exhausted - my body aches - and this picture tells the story of our day.

Just as we finished loading a car load of things on to the boat, three men and a hoist arrived. The hoist was swiftly positioned round Sula and she and her cradle were lifted and taken out of the dark and dingy shed into daylight! The mast was then lifted into position and the rigging tensioned. Then, one of the three men was hoisted in a bosun's chair to the top of the mast and he replaced the instruments (wind speed and direction and the aerial). Sula was then put in a quiet corner where John and I spent the rest of the day doing a multitude of tasks until about 7.30pm.

Tomorrow, at 7.30am we launch!
